I am continually inspired by the generosity and spirit of our Walnut Creek community. One of the most meaningful ways we come together each year is through Taste & Toast for Education taking place on Wednesday, March 25th, in downtown Walnut Creek.

Hosted by the Walnut Creek Education Foundation (WCEF) in partnership with Downtown Walnut Creek and Broadway Plaza, this lively celebration supports more than 3,500 students across our district. It is a wonderful reflection of what makes our community special - strong schools, engaged families, and local businesses working together for the benefit of our children.

Guests can look forward to delicious bites from local eateries, refreshing beverages, live music and student performances across multiple stages, and special showcases including the Las Lomas High School Art Show and Woodshop Exhibit. Many of our own elementary students are ready to perform alongside the WCI Jazz Band, WCI Orchestra, and the Tice Creek Middle School Band! It's an evening filled with connection, creativity, and community pride.

Most importantly, every ticket purchased directly supports vital programs funded by WCEF at our schools - including art, music, science labs, electives, and library programs. These programs enrich the educational experience for every student and would not be possible without the partnership of our community and WCEF.
